In September 2014, we ran a stall at the Annual MANSW Conference.
It was fantastic to be able to share information about Inquisitive Minds Workshops with lots of Primary and Secondary teachers!
On the Saturday, Derek decided to spend his down time playing with our Planks. He built an amazing tower and teacher after teacher admitted that they felt a strong need to play ‘Jenga’ to test the stability of the construction. (Of course the teacher who couldn’t resist this need picked the weakest part of the structure to mess with!!)
On Sunday, Derek took construction to a new level. Like all works of true genius, the first ever Inquisitive Minds Plank Run had the odd issue. Despite the hiccups, it provided great entertainment for the crowd and let’s face it – there’s always next Conference to perfect the art!!
